2021 Heritage Funeral Home handled our sons funeral. Our son passing was unexpected with Covid. From the moment the family met with the staff of Heritage, we were emotionally drained and filled with grief. We bonded with the staff and they have a way of soothing and relaxing the family. From beginning to end, Heritage handled everything. The staff became our most appreciated allies. We could not have expected more. Thank you Heritage for a job well done and this family will always feel an appreciation for your 'above and beyond' efforts. Len Warren

Wow, I can't say enough about Heritage Funeral Home. I went to Heritage to prepay for my father's services. I met with John Webb, (Not the spider!) He was great and went over everything with me down to the smallest details. I had questions and he was spot on for my answers. Little did I know my dad passed away a week or so later. I kept my dad at home to be with his family and hospice came in every few days. When my dad passed Heritage came to pick him up. They were very respectful of our loss. John Parrott was one of the gentlemen who helped with my dad. He seen my dad's Vietnam hat and asked if my dad was a Veteran? I said yes, my dad had did three tours of Vietnam and two tours of Germany. He lived his life with dignity and pride of fighting for his country. John said, "Your father will go out with full honors." I wasn't really sure what that meant, but I soon found out. When they came out with my dad on the gerny, he was draped with an American flag. I kissed my father goodbye for the last time and they took him out of the home. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of the American flag draping over my father. We have a lot of military in our family. They put dad in the back of the hurst and gave him a full military salute and then a quarter salute. (Again me with pictures for my brother's and sister's) From the time John got there until he left with my father, my father was given the respect, honor and dignity he deserved for being a veteran. While John was there, the respect he gave my father was amazing and for those few minutes the pain over just losing my dad subsided. I was in awe of John's treatment in handling my father. He drove off, light's flashing to let it be known he had a veteran in the vehicle. The next day, I seen John Webb and we went over some more details with me and the compassion he gave was very calming. I was extremely happy with the service they gave. My brothers and sisters were very happy with the treatment in the photos I sent them. But, my story isn't over yet. A few weeks later a friend of 20 years passed away. She was taken to Heritage Funeral Home as well. I got permission from her family to get some of her remains to put in a necklace I bought for her. Back at Heritage again, I met with Michelle Daniels, a very kind and caring woman. We talked for a few minutes and I gave her the necklace. I went back a few hours later and Michelle greeted me with a smile and my necklace in her hand. I thanked her for helping me with the necklace and she hugged me. I left and drove home. All the while holding my dear friend in my hand. I cried when i got home, just losing my dad and one of my best friends was PAINFUL. I took the necklace of my dads and of my friend and put them both on. Once they were on I got this feeling of calmness come over me, like they were telling me, "We're ok!!" I still grieve and miss them but THANK YOU is NOT enough to say to all the staff, including the ladies that answered my calls for all that Heritage Funeral Home has done for myself, my family and the family of my dear friend. But please accept my sincere THANKS for all that was done by Heritage Funeral Home.....

Wow, where to start? The people that work for Heritage Funeral Home are amazing! I had gone to the funeral home to prepay for my fathers services, little did I know he was gonna pass a few days later. I had the privilege to work with John Webb on the prepay. He was polite, courteous and very understanding of my family's wishes. John did an outstanding job! My dad had passed at home with hospice and when the time came, Heritage came to our home. One of the gentlemen seen my father's Vietnam hats and asked if my dad was a Veteran. His name was John Parrott and he was the liaison of the funeral home for the military. My dad lived with pride and honor of being a Veteran. He was proud to serve his country. What John did next, just blew me away! When they brought my dad out into our living room he was draped with the American flag. I kissed my dad goodbye for the last time and they took him out to the hurst and put him in the back. Again John surprised us. They gave my dad a full salute and then a quarter salute. In those few minutes my grief was at ease and pride kicked in...so thank you John for giving my dad the honor, pride and integrity my father earned doing 3 tours of Vietnam and 2 of Germany. I have many brothers and sisters and I took pictures of them honoring my dad. It gave my family and I a sense of pride in such a hard time. The second part of this, is a friend of 20 years passed away a couple within a couple of weeks of my dad's passing. I just lost it. I spoke with her family and asked for some of her ashes to put into a necklace I purchased for her. Of coarse, they said yes. I took the necklace to Heritage Funeral home and met Michelle Daniels. Very sweet, polite and mannerly. She was working with the family of my friend. I gave her the necklace and we talked for a few minutes. I went back a couple hours later and Michelle came out with the necklace in her hand, I thanked her. She had no idea what she'd had just done for me. Through the tears of my dad and now a very good friend in such a short time, I got in my car and cried. I headed home from Heritage holding her necklace in my hand. When I got home, I got out the necklace I had done for my dad and sat down. I began to put on the necklaces and this feeling of calm came over me. It was like they were both saying, "We're ok!" To Heritage Funeral Home, I CAN'T SAY THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!! God Bless you for ALL things you do to make it easier on the families left behind a loved ones passing. They have gone above and beyond for me, they've even called several times to check on me....God bless them.
