Obituary for Rev. Paul B. Gilbreath

Reverend Paul B. Gilbreath, 73, of Panama City, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 1, 2018. He was born October 14, 1944 in Tallassee, Alabama to Edward R. and Dovie Gilbreath. Pastor Paul has served the Lord almost his entire life. Shortly after he was saved, Pastor Paul was sent to preach at a summer children’s camp at the young age of nine. He has been an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God since 1962. He impacted thousands of lives and the full extent of his contribution to the Kingdom of God can only be known in Heaven.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Gilbreath.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 53 years, Sue Ezell Gilbreath; three sons, Paul Gilbreath Jr. and wife Rika, Drek Gilbreath and wife Candice, and Britt Gilbreath and wife Karen; grandchildren, Kade, Kamryn, Kaylee, Kyndall, Brennan, Kell, and Bristal Gilbreath; sisters, Dorothy, Lou, and Barbara; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the Heritage Funeral Home Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Monday, June 4, 2018. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at St. Andrews Assembly of God Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Andrews Assembly of God Widow’s Fund.
